Forecast: Storms back in the forecast this weekend

It's another very humid and warm start to the morning across Southwest Florida thanks to an onshore Gulf breeze, which will keep temperatures near 80 degrees during the early morning hours. 

Rain and storms will primarily favor our inland communities today from Interstate 75  east out toward Lake Okeechobee, but a spotty pop-up shower can't be ruled out for the rest of us. 

Expect a blend of sun and clouds today as temperatures top out in the low to mid 90s; the heat index will also be a force to be reckoned with as "feels like" temperatures stay between 100-105 degrees during the peak heating of the day. More ⇒
