American Idol alum Casey James performs tonight at South Street in Naples

Event time changed. Cyborg Danger Field starts at 7:30 p.m., and Casey James, 8:30 p.m. 

"American Idol" alum Casey James will perform tonight at South Street City Oven and Grill in Naples. 

James, from Texas, came in third on the ninth season of "American Idol" with his bluesy, country-rock sound. 

Naples fans can expect to hear songs off his latest album, "Strip It Down."

James' opening act will be Naples' rock band, Cyborg Danger Field. The show is free.

Can't make it Thursday?

James will make two other stops in Florida — June 22, Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Fort Lauderdale; and June 24, The Kelsey Theatre in Lake Park.
