After a dry start to the week, we are slowly returning towards a more typical pattern of afternoon shower activity during the second half of the week.

Expect mild and pleasant conditions through your morning across Southwest Florida with mostly clear skies and temperatures in the mid to upper 70s.

During the mid- to late afternoon, rain and an isolated thunderstorm or two will develop. There will be a light sea breeze on the beaches but nothing too impressive. Any showers that develop will ride the prevailing winds from north to south. Rain coverage will be around 30 to 40 percent. Afternoon highs will be in the low to mid-90s.
