Live stream: Florida school shooting survivors join rally for stricter gun control
More than 100 students and survivors from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School are at Florida’s capitol building exactly a week after a mass shooting on their campus.
The teens rode buses across the state from Parkland to Tallahassee to speak with lawmakers about enacting stricter gun and mental health laws.
They'll take part in a noontime Rally to Support Gun Safety Reform. That will be livestreamed in the player above.
The rally is sponsored by the Florida Coalition to Prevent Gun Violence and the League of Women Voters of Florida. Others participating will be The Florida PTA, Equality Florida and The Campaign to Keep Guns off Campus.
