A Naples man was arrested Monday after he broke into his neighbor's apartment, hid under the bed of an 11-year-old girl living there and left her a lewd note, according to Collier County Sheriff's Office deputies.

David Hanggigoble was arrested Monday.

David Hanggigoble, 24, was charged with aggravated stalking or cyberstalking of a minor younger than 16 and unarmed burglary of an occupied dwelling. He was taken to the Naples Jail Center and booked. Bail has not been set yet.

The girl told deputies that, after her mother left the apartment Monday morning, she was was in the bathroom getting ready for school, according to an arrest report. When the girl exited the bathroom, she told authorities, she saw a man hiding under a bed in her room, the report stated. She then ran out of the room and was going to call her mother, but her mother had just called out to her. The girl told her mom what happened, and the man left the apartment before deputies arrived.

When deputies searched the bedroom, they found a lewd note written on a small piece of cardboard that had been placed on a nightstand, the report stated.

Deputies found Hanggigoble outside the apartment. He told them that he had gone to the apartment "to borrow a ratchet set," according to the report.

Hanggigoble told deputies that he knocked on the door and said hello and went inside, the report stated.

When deputies asked him why he wrote the note and what his intentions toward the girl were, "he would only say that he had been there to borrow tools," according to the report.

Monday's encounter with Hanggigoble wasn't the first for the family, the mother said.

The girl's mother told deputies that she leaves the apartment first in the morning to take her younger children to school and then goes to work. About half an hour later, her 11-year-old daughter leaves to meet her friend for a ride to school, according to the report.

The mother told deputies that about one month ago her daughter told her that when she opened the front door to leave for school, Hanggigoble was standing at the door.

"Her daughter told her that the man asked to use their bathroom," the report stated. The girl did not allow him in and went to her friend's, the report continued.

About two weeks ago, the mother was arriving home with her children when she noticed a tablet computer on the steps leading to their apartment, according to the report.

"She said that she looked at the tablet and it was playing pornographic videos," the report stated. "She said that she grabbed it up as quickly as she could, to hide it from her children."

Right after the mother picked it up, Hanggigoble came out to get the tablet and told her that it was his, according to the report.

"She chastised him about leaving something like that laying around for children to see," the report stated.
