Temperatures of 90 degrees are possible this afternoon as near-record heat continues across Southwest Florida.
Warm and breezy weather will keep temperatures this afternoon in the 88 to 90 degree range for inland areas with 85 to 87 degrees on the beaches. The record high today in Fort Myers is 91 and only 89 in Naples.
Skies will turn partly cloudy in the afternoon, but rain chances are low.
